Walmart Pay Is Good, but I Always Feel Kind of Sneaky

Let me paint this picture for you.  I grab a few items and take them to self checkout.  I then either use no bag at all or use a reusable bag that I brought.  I pull out my phone and and appear to be taking a picture of the register.  Then I leave, with no paper receipt.  After that I'm usually waiting for the people greeter to stop me, because it always feels like I'm stealing groceries.

Aside from feeling like a thief, I actually like using the Walmart app to pay and find it to be pretty easy to use.  If the in-store WiFi was faster, and a connection to the register was made quicker it would be even better.  I also like that you receive a digital copy of your receipt, which is better for the environment, and you can then submit those receipts to the Walmart Savings Catcher Program.  I save a few cents here and there with the Savings Catcher program, but over the course of a year, I could end up with an extra $20 in savings for not really doing anything.

Other than speeding up your in-store WIFI, I'd really love for Walmart to automatically submit my digital receipts to Savings Catcher.

I'm not really going to go into detail on Savings Catcher, but here's a screen shot of what it looked like when I saved $0.49 on some popsicles.  The local Smith's grocery store was selling them at a lower price, so Walmart refunded me the difference.
